More About Tim...

During his Biology degree, volunteering in West Africa with a health organization for two months with refugees from the Liberian civil war confirmed his desire to study medicine. He completed his medical degree at the University of British Columbia in 2002. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UBC in 2007. Highlights of his residency included an elective working in Banda Aceh Indonesia on injuries sustained from the tsunami, as well as one month in Zurich, Switzerland at the University Trauma Clinic. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction in London at the University of Western Ontario. Research interests during his residency and fellowship centered on outcomes following joint reconstruction.
